The Human Resource Department of the Town of Barrington is responsible for all aspects of Personnel Management. Sewer Operator Laborer
The Barrington Public Works department has an opening for a full time, safety minded Laborer/Wastewater treatment worker (first shift). Incumbent performs a variety of general duties in regards to the daily operations of the Town. Duties include: a variety of tasks and operations in wastewater treatment, plowing, landscape, maintenance, carpentry, field maintenance, etc.
Prior experience in a similar capacity preferred.
Candidates must be mechanically inclined and be familiar with such equipment.
Salary $44,367 to start, $45,845 upon successful completion of probation.

The Town of Barrington has a seasonal opening for an experienced Boater for the Barrington waters. The Barrington Harbor Patrol is a seasonal, part time position working from April to October. Attachment
The Town of Barrington is seeking experienced and qualified Camp Counselor for the Town’s 6-week day camps. Attachment
This position is involved with the planning and implementation of the day camp programs including but not limited to games, sports, arts and crafts, music, activities, field trips and special events.
This position is also responsible for direct supervision of children between the ages of 5 and 12 as well as strict adherence to camp programming and protocol. Attachment
