Parks in Barrington

Haines Memorial Park

Narragansett Avenue. Facilities include 75 acres of athletic fields and picnic sites along with a boat dock and launching ramp. Permit required for use of fields.

Osamequin Nature Trails and Bird Sanctuary.

Located along Hundred Acre Cove off County Road. A conservation area maintained by the town consisting of 38 acres of nature trails and a bird sanctuary.

Veterans Memorial Park

West Street. A 245 acre town park bordering historic Brickyard Pond. Facilities include a baseball field, picnic areas, and toilet facilities as well as fishing in season.

Walker Farm

A town park located off County Road along Hundred Acre Cove. Thirty acres of open land including boating and fishing accesses. Permit required for some activities.

East Bay Bike Path

A bike trail running from East Providence to Bristol using the railroad bed. Open to bicycles and foot traffic.

Kids Kove Playground

Situated behind Town Hall, the original playground was built by town volunteers 1985. A new, redesigned playground was built in 2008.

Police Cove Park

Located on County Road across from Mathewson Road and abuts the East Bay Bike Path and boat ramp to the Barrington River.
