The Town of Barrington is seeking an experienced janitor for part time work at the Public Safety building. This position is responsible for a variety of janitorial services including sweeping, moping, vacuuming, window washing, trash removal and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the building and rest rooms, and regular buffing and waxing of floors. Other duties may include moving office furniture, snow removal, and minor repairs or painting when needed. Must be physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.
Interest in or experience with heating and HVAC systems a plus.

The Barrington Peck Center for Adult Enrichment is seeking a Part Time (3-5 hours per week) Outreach Coordinator. Candidates must be comfortable with the elderly, friendly and have reliable transportation. Duties include installing emergency dialers in eligible resident’s homes, testing the batteries, and record keeping. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds if necessary.
